About this cause
Mental Health in Europe — and how you can help
Mental-health support across Europe is provided by a mix of larger welfare institutions, specialised non-profits and community-led peer-support initiatives. The work covers prevention, low-threshold support, peer groups, helplines, and accompaniment for people navigating the wider mental-health system.
Ways to help vary by experience. Some opportunities — helplines, peer-support groups, accompaniment programmes — require training and longer-term commitment, and the listed organisations will explain the process. Other opportunities are more open: fundraising events, awareness initiatives, professional skills donated pro bono (translation, design, legal, communications) and recurring financial support. Mental-health initiatives often run on thin budgets relative to demand, so predictable monthly donations are particularly useful for planning.
All listings link directly to the source organisation. We aggregate from public NGO platforms and a curated list of European mental-health initiatives. We do not provide medical advice, do not endorse specific interventions, and do not act as an intermediary — we only surface ways to support the organisations doing this work.

FAQ
Common questions about supporting Mental Health
How can I support Mental Health organisations?+
Browse the opportunities on this page and click through to the organisation you'd like to support. You can volunteer, donate, contribute professional skills pro bono, or back a current campaign. There is no doing-good.org middle step — you sign up or donate with the organisation directly.
Can I volunteer instead of donating?+
Yes. Most Mental Health listings include volunteer roles alongside donation campaigns. Filter the opportunities below by category “Volunteer” to focus only on hands-on roles. Each listing notes the typical time commitment and any language or training requirements.
How are the Mental Health opportunities selected?+
Each listed organisation is checked to make sure it is a real, publicly identifiable NGO or community initiative. We don't endorse individual projects beyond confirming the source. We exclude duplicates and unverifiable entries.
Can I support Mental Health organisations remotely?+
Often yes — particularly through donations, pro bono work (translation, design, legal, technical support), online mentoring or awareness work. Filter the opportunities below by category “Donate” or “Pro bono service” to focus on what you can do from anywhere.
How are Mental Health opportunities selected for this page?+
Opportunities are aggregated from public NGO platforms and a curated list of established European organisations active in this area. Listings are refreshed daily; expired or removed offers are filtered out automatically. We add organisations to the curated list when their work is publicly verifiable.
Can organisations update or add their Mental Health listing?+
Yes. Listings are free. Organisations can submit a new opportunity through the “For organizations” link in the header or write to info@doing-good.org. We review submissions to keep the directory trustworthy.
