PROVIEH e.V., the association for farm animal protection, advocates for species-appropriate and respectful animal husbandry in agriculture and campaigns against cruel keeping conditions and against the treatment of animals as mere production units. PROVIEH demands that husbandry practices be aligned with the needs of farm animals, rather than making modifications to the animals themselves.
